Event Details
An evening to recognise and celebrate businesses in the Humber who are creating a more diverse workforce by embracing and promoting ability in the workplace. The evening will include:
- The This-Ability Awards Ceremony
- Special guest Alex Brooker
- A Three Course Evening Meal
The Humber Region aims to take great strides towards reducing the disability employment gap, already businesses large and small are working innovatively to access the many skills that are often missed.
Currently, the disability employment gap sits at around 31% nationally, over the next 5 years the This-Ability Partnership aims to create more opportunities for disabled young people in the Humber Region, by giving businesses the assistance they need, we have a specific aspiration to help small to medium enterprises become Disability Confident.
This event will showcase the work already being done in the region and inspire other businesses to follow, leading the Humber towards a more inclusive, dynamic, productive workforce.
