What is responsibility?
Like trust, responsibility is something that we gain from others and within ourselves. We need to understand how our actions affect others and accept the consequences of our actions. We need to be accountable for the things we say and do.
Why is responsibility important in work?
For a team to succeed and accomplish their goals, each member must be able to hold themselves accountable when they make a mistake or miss a deadline. If even one member of the team refuses to take responsibility and tries to blame someone else, your team will be negatively impacted.
